What should I do while waiting for the electrician?
If you can do it safely, turn off the breaker for the affected circuit. If there is smoke or fire, get out and call 911. Never touch wet equipment.
Is it a Hydro-Québec outage or my house?
If your neighbours also lost power, it’s probably Hydro-Québec’s grid. If only your home or part of it is affected, call us.
